Its been more than a month now on TORINIA, my first ship. And this is the
first time I am attempting to write my blog from the ship's mail service,
shellmail. I am not yet sure that this will get posted properly on my blog.
And even if it does get published properly, I dont know will I get any
reader. Still, I am giving it a try. Lets start. With a hope that some day,
someone will read this and will eventually get to know that while I am on
board I really miss him/her so much and perhaps the happiest moment of the
day for me is the time when I get to know that there is mail for me in my
account, x.harshvardhan@shellmail.com .
Anyway, about my life on ship I can say that so far its good. The initial
days of training is always supposed to be the toughest and by that
standards I am not troubled much. Right now I am in the Indian Ocean,
heading east towards Singapore Straits. Slowly getting adjusted with this
new life.
In short, Its LOVELY. And its LONELY.
